Who we are
CTRL is run by Purposeful Profits Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Purposeful Profits Inc. in these terms, and “you” means the person or business using CTRL.
CTRL is a Meta ad intelligence and creative platform for DTC and CPG brands. SIBT is the name of the AI inside CTRL that drafts, analyses and suggests.
These terms
By creating an account or using CTRL you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use CTRL for a business, you confirm you can agree to these terms for it.
CTRL is built for businesses. Please do not use it as a private consumer.
Accounts and workspaces
Each account belongs to a workspace. A workspace holds your brands, research, concepts, creative and connections, and its members can see and work on all of it.
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password and sign-in methods safe. Two-factor sign-in is available in Settings, and a workspace owner can require it for every member.
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what members and invited guests do there.
- You can share one brand with people outside your workspace as guests. Guests see only that brand, with the role you give them, and you can remove them at any time.
Plans, credits and billing
- To start the free trial you choose a plan and save a card with Stripe. Nothing is charged then. Your workspace gets one-off trial credits, given once and never renewed.
- When any of your trial credits runs out, the plan you chose starts automatically and its first payment is charged to your saved card. You can change the plan, start it early, or cancel the trial and remove your card from Billing at any time before then, and you pay nothing.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through Stripe. Prices, brand limits and monthly allowances are shown on the pricing page and in Billing.
- Monthly allowances reset on the 1st of each month. Unused allowance does not carry over.
- Payments are taken by Stripe, which handles your card details.
Managed ad spend fee
When CTRL manages a Meta ad account for one of your brands, we charge a fee of 3% of that ad account’s whole spend in each calendar month, counted from the date it became managed. The fee is charged monthly, at most once per ad account and month.
An ad account counts as managed when SIBT Autopilot is on for the brand at any level, or when CTRL has made at least one change in that ad account. Billing shows which accounts are managed, the spend this month and the fee.
The fee for each month is invoiced on its own in the first week of the next month and charged to the card on file (or emailed with 14 days to pay if there is no card). If an ad account spends in a currency other than the invoice currency, the fee is converted at the European Central Bank reference rate for the last business day of that month, and the rate is shown on the invoice.
You can add a backup card on the Billing page. If the fee is declined on your card, we try the backup card. If it cannot be collected, SIBT Autopilot and new Meta changes pause until it is paid; pausing ads still works.
Add-ons and SIBT licences
- Video generation is sold as top-up packs. A top-up adds allowance for the month you buy it in.
- Deep VOC research runs, carried out with the SIBT team, are bought one run at a time.
- If you hold a SIBT Partner or Core licence, CTRL is included in that licence in place of plan pricing, with the allowances it sets. The managed ad spend fee of 3% still applies, as one fee that covers SIBT and CTRL.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a plan from Billing at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. After that your data stays, and you need to add a card and choose a plan again to keep using the app.
Fees you have paid, including annual fees, add-ons and managed ad spend fees, are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund.
Changes CTRL makes for you
CTRL can prepare changes in your ad and email accounts. It acts only within the limits below.
- Meta: new ads go into your Ads Manager as drafts. A draft goes live only when a workspace admin confirms the account, campaign, budget and currency, or when SIBT Autopilot at the Full level publishes its own test within the weekly test budget an admin set. Pauses and budget changes are queued by a workspace admin or by SIBT Autopilot, and no daily budget can go above the brand's budget cap.
- Klaviyo: CTRL creates emails as drafts. Nothing is sent until a workspace admin schedules the send after confirming the audience, its size, the send time and the subject.
- SIBT Autopilot is off for every brand until a workspace admin switches it on. It then acts on that admin's authority, only at the level the admin chose and within the budgets the admin set. An admin can pause it at any time.
You are responsible for every ad and email you publish or send, including ones SIBT drafted, and for following the terms and policies of Meta, Klaviyo, Shopify and any other service you connect.
Acceptable use
When you use CTRL, you agree not to:
- scrape, crawl or copy CTRL itself or its data in bulk by automated means, other than through the tools and connections we provide;
- use CTRL to create or run ads, pages or emails that are unlawful, misleading, or against the policies of the platform they run on;
- copy another brand's name, logo, claims or creative and present it as your own;
- upload content you do not have the right to use, or personal data you are not allowed to share with us;
- try to get around usage limits, budget caps, confirmations or security controls, or to reach another workspace's data;
- resell or give access to CTRL outside your workspace, except through the sharing features it offers.
AI output
SIBT produces concepts, copy, images, video, analyses and recommendations with AI models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to other material. Review it before you use it, and check claims, prices and legal wording yourself.
Scores, verdicts and forecasts in CTRL are estimates to help you decide. They are not promises of performance.
Public ad data and reference material
Ads in the library come from the public Meta Ad Library and other public sources. We show them as we found them. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrongly labelled, and the brands that made them own them.
Reference ads, emails and landing pages are there to study structure and messaging. Do not copy a brand’s name, logo or claims.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you bring to CTRL and what you make with it: brand kits, uploads, research, concepts, creative, pages and emails.
You give us a licence to store, copy, process and display that content only as needed to run CTRL for you, including sending it to the services that power CTRL (see our Privacy Policy). The licence ends when you delete the content.
Thumbs up or down and notes you leave on outputs help SIBT write better prompts. SIBT turns repeated notes into short prompt rules with no brand content, and those rules can improve outputs for every CTRL workspace.
Results we show
The figures on our results page and homepage come from our team’s past client work. Those brands are not CTRL customers, and the figures are not results from using CTRL.
We do not guarantee any outcome from using CTRL, including sales, return on ad spend or growth.
Availability and changes to CTRL
We work to keep CTRL available and your data safe. We cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Connected services such as Meta, Shopify, Klaviyo and Stripe can change or stop working in ways we do not control.
We may change, add or remove features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we will tell you first.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or CTRL at risk, or has unpaid fees. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
You can stop using CTRL at any time. To have your account and workspace deleted, contact us (see below).
Liability
CTRL is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue or wasted ad spend.
Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using CTRL after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and the courts of the State of Delaware deal with any dispute about them.
